“Children have immense talent which needs to be brought out. It is the duty of various associations and organisations to provide a platform to their talent, opined DC Ramachandra.
He was speaking after inaugurating the cultural competition organised for children by Ekavi, an international organisation of the fans of Kannada language. Lauding the efforts of the Ekavi he said it is providing a platform for the show case of children talent. “Competitions like these should be held regularly in order to protect the culture and tradition of Kannada language”, he added.
“The competitions like these should be held at taluk-level and public associations and organisations should lend support to these competitions along with Kannada and Culture Department and Department of Public Instruction, noted Assistant Director of the Education Department C Nagaraj who was the chief guest.
