Five of Blore family drown in TN village
Bangalore, DHNS:

Five members of a family from Bangalore, including three women, drowned while trying to save a nine-year-old from drowning in a pond at Kolapunam village, in Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu, on Monday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Latha (31), Amuda (29), Gilbert Clove (12), Muniyammal (40) and Monisha (10). They were all residents of Neelasandra.

According to Tamil Nadu police, the family had gone to Polakulam village in Samsipodi near Tiruvannamalai, to attend a function.

While returning, they stopped near a quarry with a lot of water. Jayanthi, a nine-year-old, slipped into the quarry. Muniyammal, who jumped into the quarry rescued the child, but she herself lost balance and drowned. Amuda, Clove and Monisha, who tried to rescue Muniyammal, also met the watery grave.
The bodies were fished out by fire services personnel.

Man found dead

The decomposed body of a 31-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling at a paying guest accomodation on 13th Cross, JP Nagar on Monday.

He has been identified as Prasanna, an employee of a private firm. Police suspect he might have hanged himself three days ago.
Though he has not left behind any suicide note, police feel love failure could be the reason.
