As many as 125 prizes were given to students from LKG to 10th standards of various schools in the city. They had won the drawing competition on nature awareness and adventure in different categories, organised by the Lal Bahadur Mountaineering Institute.

Five children bagged first prizes; eight students bagged second prizes, and nine children bagged third prizes. A special prize was given to Hemanth Kumar M, a fourth standard student of Government Model Primary School, Hebbal. Hemanth Kumar, who had lost both his hands when a live wire fell on him, drew paintings with the help of his legs.
