National Service Scheme (NSS) will hold district-level Yuvajanotsava at the District Institute for Education and Training on February 15 and 16 under the theme “Youth for Cleanliness”.
Arameri Kalancheri mutt Shanthamallikarjuna Swamiji will inaugurate the fest at 9.15 am on February 15.

Zilla Panchayat Social Justice Standing Committee Chairman S N Rajarao, Taluk Panchayat member Laxman Raje Urs, DIET In-charge Principal S Sundar, senior lecturer C B Bhagyalakshmi, Muvattoklu Malnad D Ed College Superintendent Kumar, Kushalnagar Chaitanya D Ed College Superintendent B P Venkatesh and Srimangala D Ed College Superintendent Shashikumar will be the chief guests.
The valedictory will be held at 2.30 pm on February 16. NSS deputy programme advisor Dr H S Suresh will deliver the valedictory address. DIET In-charge Principal S Sundar will preside, the release informed.
NSS Programme Co-ordinator H D Govindaiah, ZP former president K P Chandrakala, Virajpet Sarvodaya D Ed College Superintendent Shashikala, Madikeri Saraswathi D Ed College President P K Muttappa, Masagodu Ramaiah D Ed College Secretary B P Harish and Ponnampet Sri Sai Shankara Educational Institution President J Ganapathi will be the chief guests on the occasion, the release added.
