Meet for Cong Janandolana
DH News Service, Chinthamani:

“We are the committed and original Congressmen,” asserted former MLA Dr M C Sudhakar.

He was speaking at the preliminary meeting of the Congress party, held in Chinthamani on Wednesday, to discuss about the Janandolana meet, to be held in Chikkaballapur on February 15.

He said, he was a victim of conspiracy and hence he had remained away from the Congress for some time.

However, though he was away from the Congress, he still mentally belonged to it. Those who did not have a clear picture of what the Congress is all about, keep boasting that they belonged to the Congress.

In the Chinthamani Assembly constituency, there was no question of old timers or new comers. There are leaders who are in the Congress party, right from the days of M C Anjaneyareddy, and have been working for the welfare of the party. Due to political confusions in the State, the party workers should pay more attention towards the party’s organisation.

Mr Krishna Bhairegowda was doing an excellent job as the youth Congress president. He was performing his duties well and was efficient in managing the responsibilities given to him, under the leadership of Mr Rahul Gandhi. He was inspiring the youngsters to join the youth force.

Mr Rahul Gandhi was an efficient leader and took intelligent decisions and the party was heading in the right direction, under his leadership, he said and added, in the last four months, there have been several allegations against me, however, the high command was aware of the fact that by whose’s contribution, the party had gained strength in this constituency.

Thanks for the support of Moily, B K Hariprasad, Jaipal Reddy, D K Shivakumar and several other leaders, we are able to work properly, he said.

KPCC President Mallikarjun Kharge was striving day and night to ensure the party’s victory, while, the arrival of Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna, to the State will strengthen it all the more, the Congress leader added.

Though some of them were opposing Mr Krishna’s arrival to the State’s politics, his return is almost certain, he said.
