INTERNATIONAL

CRICKET: Fresh from their victory against India, a buoyant Sri Lanka will take on Australia in the tri-series encounter at Perth on Sunday. India play Australia on Sunday at Adelaide and then square off with Sri Lanka at the same venue on Tuesday.

After taking a 2-0 lead, New Zealand will be eyeing a series victory when they play England in the third ODI at Auckland on Friday. The fourth one-dayer will be played in Napier on Wednesday.

The U-19 World Cup begins in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

FOOTBALL: Champions League first leg knockout fixtures will be played on Tuesday.

ATHLETICS: The three-day Asian Indoor Championships begins in Doha on Thursday.

GOLF: Indonesian Open -- part of the European Tour -- commences at the Cengkareng Golf Club on Thursday.

TENNIS: Diamond Games, part of the WTA Calendar, concludes at Antwerp on Sunday. ATP fixtures -- Brazil Open, Marseille Open and San Jose Open -- also conclude on the same day.
Qatar Open, a WTA event, commences on Monday.

NATIONAL

FOOTBALL: The penultimate round fixtures of the I-League will be played on Saturday and Sunday at various venues across the country.

CRICKET: Duleep Trophy final will commence at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.

LOCAL/ STATE

CRICKET: MTR Nivarana Basavanagudi Cup concludes at the National High School grounds on Sunday.
