All that glitters is not gold. It’s pink this time! Celebrating the colours of season, Swarovski showcased its romantic line for Valentine’s Day in the City recently. For the first time, Swarovski has introduced crystals in rose water opal colour - apt for the popular heart shape that dominated the entire line of jewellery and accessories.

A limited edition, the fashion line comprised rhodium-plated pendants, brooches, earrings and bracelets in the pretty feminine pink. A necklace that caught the eye featured a pendant made up of pave crystal ribbons wrapped around a crystal pearl in the rose water opal colour.

The piece effectively played on sophistication and unconditional feminine charm. Similarly, other little hearts embellished delicate bracelets, earrings and brooches.

As the models flaunted the pretty jewellery collection, the interesting accessory and decorative line was displayed at the venue too. From a pair of doves, heart-shaped keyrings, secret message holders, kris bears to bookmarks - the line was for those who prefer the unconventional. ‘With You Heart’ was a fully-faceted rosaline crystal heart with a small interior pink metal tube for a secret message sealed with a pink metal screw top. Or the ‘With You Bookmark’, which had a delicately looped pink metal featuring a rosaline crystal heart. Little heart-shaped perfume bottles made for another beautiful gifting option.

Talking about the Valentine line, Anindita Bhattacharya of Swarovski India, said, “Pink is the colour of the month.

Our collection celebrates pink. Apart from jewellery, we also have crystal card holders and clutches.

“The range is priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 12,000, making it an affordable gifting option.” So if you are ‘in the pink of wealth’, indulge in some crystal glam this Valentine’s Day.
