Interior design awards

The Institute of Indian Interior Designers, BRC, under the chairmanship of Mrs Gitanjali Krishan, along with Anchor Electricals Pvt Ltd, headed by Mr Nilesh Jhaveri and Mr Naveen Chandra, jointly organised a competition in Interior Design for local practising professionals. The key criteria for selection was ‘Elegance in a classical sense, combined with design innovation’. Awards were assigned for several categories including Young Designer and Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr Harish Bijoor was the Guest of Honour.

The following were the recipients of various categories:

Sobha Petunia launched

Sobha Developers Limited (SDL), recently launched another residential project ‘Sobha Petunia’ in Bangalore. Mr Ravi Menon, Vice Chairman, Sobha Developers Ltd, announced the project. The area is very close to the Hebbal flyover overlooking the Lumbini Garden, with easy access to the new international airport. The project cost is estimated to be approximately 200 crore and Sobha aims to complete this project in 36 months.
