Rainfall occurred at a few places over Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Interior Karnataka and above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka. Chamarajnagara recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17.6 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Saturday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
