The new Endeavour comes with 16-valve DOHC 3 litre turbo-diesel common-rail injection (TDCi) engine offering a torque of 380 Nm at 2,500rpm.
Fuel efficiency
The maximum power churned out by the beast is at 156 PS at 3,200 rpm. The fuel efficiency of the new three litre engine is at par with the 2.5 TDCi launched last summer. The Endeavour comes in two basic dimensions and the size is almost identical to the current Endeavour. The square-jawed SUV look has been retained for the new engine 3L in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive systems. The vehicle also includes a variable geometry turbocharger that cuts the turbo lag which was prominent in the earlier version.
