A seven-year-old boy Ashish of Burmanince area of Steel City Jamshedpur has become the cynosure of all eyes these days as he has adopted an utterly unusual feat to carve a niche for himself.

While Ashish can be seen running in playground on his twisted feet, he spends hours walking on the weary streets of Steel City, virtually making the posture as his lifestyle.

“At first glance, people feel that I have some physical deformity. But the fact is I am very much a normal child blessed with a divine feat. In sharp contrast to a normal man, I can not only walk but also run at a good speed twisting the fingers of my feet. I want to make the fullest use of this divine blessing. Who knows my hard work will some day find my name recorded in the Guinness Book of World Record,” said Ashish to Deccan Herald.
When he was a toddler, Ashish’s ability to walk on his twisted feet beleaguered his parents with misgivings.
“He is in the habit of twisting the fingers of his feet and moving in the same posture at an age of two years. Earlier, we were very much apprehensive about him. But our misgivings went away as he grew older. We want him to become a sportsperson of good repute in future,” said Amod Kumar Dubey, Ashish’s father.
