Karnataka Government Secretariat Club scored a six-wicket win over L&T Fine Arts Sports Club to emerge KSCA Group II, Division III champions at the Chinnaswamy stadium here on Wednesday.
Batting first in the two-day final, L&T were poorly placed after being skittled out for a meagre 209 in the first innings. KGS made 255 for nine in their 55-over first innings.
Having conceded a lead of 46 runs, L&T had to make capital of the 30-over second innings to keep their titles hopes alive. BV Manjunath’s 71-ball 57, which contained six hits to the fence, helped L&T post a fighting 182 for nine.
Set a target of 137, KGS reached the target in 24.3 overs, losing four wickets in the process.
