People’s March on February 22
The People’s March — organised by the Popular Front of India — will culminate in Bangalore on February 22, after its State-wide campaign. The New Karnataka People’s March, organised as three-pronged caravans from Bidar, Chikmagalur and Sirsi, was launched on February 8. The march will culminate with a mass public meeting in the City, PFI members told reporters on Wednesday.
Govt employees’ demands
The Karnataka State Government Employees Association on Wednesday demanded that the State Government to address their grievances and fulfil their   demands including clearance of the employees’ pending arrears, action on the final Pay Commission report.
