Family’s day out
Kilikili, a registered trust formed by parents of special children, will organise a ‘Family's Day’ Out for children — with and without disabilities — at Coles Park, Frazer Town, on February 2. The idea is to help special children play, interact and make friends with other kids and their families.
Kilikili believes such an event would make disabled children feel a part of the society, thus increasing their sense of worth. Family's Day Out is part of Kilikili's Integration and Inclusion programme, which also aims at helping children without any disability, understand diversity in a sensitive and humane manner.
The activity will be held every Saturday at Coles Park. All families having children up to 12 years of age are welcome to attend the get-together.
