Celebrating Chinese New Year
Three-Quarter Chinese, located on Church Street, is celebrating Chinese New Year till February 10 by offering seafood specials from Hong Kong. Number 7 is considered lucky the world over and this time, the Chinese New Year falls on Feb 7, the year of the Rat. The restaurant is offering Chinese delicacies like the Great Lobster, Mighty Crab, the Octopus, the Squid with Fish Gourmet in Mandarin and Cantonese styles. Along with the signature dishes come wine and imported liquors from Australia, Japan, Italy, France and USA. There will be face-painting, caricature, and live entertainment. At lunch, one can enjoy the buffet spread. A discount of 10 per cent is offered on every wine order.
Kashmiri food festival
Designed by celebrity chef Jiggs Kalra, The Leela Palace Jamavar has organised a Kashmiri food festival. Claimed to be the first ever in the City, the festival is on till February 10. Gourmet from the land of Shikaras - Kashmiri cuisine is known for its rich taste and aroma with unique delicacies.
