Close on the heels of the initiative that increased air traffic frequency between the two countries, India and Pakistan on Thursday decided to increase the frequency of the Delhi-Lahore bus service.
At the first meeting of the Indo-Pak standing committee here on Wednesday, the two sides decided to increase the frequency of the Delhi-Lahore bus service from two trips a week to three trips from each side.
The Delhi-Lahore bus was the first such service to be introduced between the two countries in February, 1999. The two countries also decided to rationalise the bus fare.
