Please don’t harm the ANIMALS!

Please do not have animal circuses. You will harm the animals, like elephants, lions, tigers and monkeys etc. Let them free in the forests. They also have feelings. They are also living things like us. But the only sad thing is they cannot talk and they cannot think like us. God gave humans a special brain but we are using the special brain for bad things. Please!  Oh please let the animals free. Animals are living things.

My birthday party

It was a matter of yesterday
As it was my birthday
I decided to throw a party for my friends
And also to adorn the house
But instead of bringing happiness
It became a day of dismay and sadness
My father brought bad news

He said ‘’In Andheri there was a bash
which lead to loss of lives, property and cash
He said ‘’You can’t celebrate
your birthday because
there is a bandhwhich stunned me

Everyone says living in Bombay is fortunate
But for me it seemed to lead to misfortune
Due to to the Andheri bomb blast
My sadness lasted long.

Then my parents made me understand Gandhiji’s Talisman. That birthday I celebrated in a simple way.

My Mom

My friend, my mom,
She’s kind, not like the mean cat, Tom.
She’s always so clever,
And rude , is she ? Never !
She’s so good,
She’s better than food .
She helps me to learn,
The knowledge I should earn.
She’s the best in the world, I know she is,
If you don’t see her, something big you will miss!

My Dad

My friend, my dad,
He’s never ever bad!
He’s so good in everything,
Mostly in mathematics and singing!
He’s like a fairy, only that he’s a male,
And to help me, he never goes pale!
-Aditi  Ramakrishnan
Delhi Public School

MAHATMA GANDHI

He was born in Gujarat
And all followed his path.
We were made dependence
So he fought for our independence.
He believed in peace
And always said," Please".
He followed non-violence
And we were happy with his presence.

Gandhiji

He is the father of the Hindus,
Muslims, Christians, and also
the Father of the nation
He is known by us all
His fame is high and tall
He is called Mahatma
Because he was a great atma
He is none, except Gandhiji

Our School

My school is wonderful
for ever and ever
for every child
polite and clever
we have a field where
we play games
we have a lot of fun
in there and we enjoy
when eating lunch
we talk and laugh
and if we can’t stop ourselves
we also cough
a happy day when we enjoy
very much, and when we go home
we feel a little sad
