A Quest to cheat public!
Bangalore, dhns:

“Raise Yourself To Help Mankind” ––  was the slogan coined by Quest Net Limited to spread its alleged “swindling network” across Karnataka and other parts of the country to cheat the public of several crores of rupees.
Police said this internet-based network marketing company was offering absurdly high returns to its investors. Falling into the trap, nearly 6,000 people from across Karnataka, including 811 from Bangalore city alone, had invested.
When it was time to refund the money, the company just packed up. Investors lodged complaints at various police stations and the High Grounds police received the maximum number of complaints.
“Altogether we have received 811 complaints. We are trying to get the money refunded to the people,” said Lokeshwara, the High Grounds police station inspector.
People who were associated with the firm were asked to register online with the firm and in return they were given an ID number. Since there was absolutely no paper work, there is no solid proof that people had put their money in the firm. The company had around 25 branches across Bangalore, said an investigating police officer.
One Pushpam Appal Naidu is the director of the firm while its Karnataka chief is Srikanth. Police have detained Srikanth. So far, around 300 demand drafts have been dispatched to the investors and a few more will be sent on Friday, said police sources.

Questnet or Goldquest scam is an effective tool to brainwash greedy people into joining their pyramid scam. This scam is already collapsed in many countries and banned. Recently USA also banned it. Now it has collapsed in India also leaving thousands or people who lost all their money in this scam.

QI ltd the masterscam company from Malaysia has dissociated itself from Questnet Scam India. That should not surprise anyone with half a brain at all. Next logical step is going to be Questnet Scam India dissociating itself from their so called Independent Buisness Owners. This is how these scam end. Just wait and watch.

Whoever is creating these stories are just in completely wrong notion that the company does not pay; its pays through ICICI Bank.

Bangalore Police needs to investigate before coming to conclusions.

Questnet is a pyramid scam in which the only way people make money is by recruiting new members in endless chains who are forced to buy highly overpriced products that has no market on their own. These new recruits then trained to trick more and more people to join the scam. Everytime someone manages to dupe someone into joining, he gets a share of the loot. When the availability of new recruits stops, these type of scams collapse leaving more than 99% of those at bottom to loose all their money

Actually these fraud people are maintaining a big network in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and other big cities of India. You may have read my one of the articles of QuestNet. On 9th Feb, I was emotionally blackmailed to become its member.

The statement of Police commisioner shows how great knowledge about the company police is carrying. And another thing the people who invested and expecting returns seating on the bed they will get returns are the real losers and they cant do anything in their life. This is fantastic business plan which has created thousands of millioners. Its individuals choice whether to join or not, if those people have joined they need to work on the opportunity instead of seating on their ass.

I am not a part of this biz but wondering If some wrong people collect money from poor ignorant people in the name of a large Bank and MNC whether the Bank is to be blamed? The answer is NO so Quest.net can't be held responsible. While joining every person has to read the Terms and Conditions of the company and then join it.So it is ignorance of many and greed of some which are to be blamed.

Guys, Can u plz go thru the article again?
811 ppl invested in the business, and 811 complaints lodged ?? How logical is that?
No.1 -- Ppl from bangalore itself are in favour of quest acc to this thread
No.2 -- 811 ppl invested?? I think its not 811 , but much much more , who are actually earning !
If someone invests, and then sits at home dreaming of money trees, and then not getting it,since they never put the effort!! , whose mistake is that??

Stop whining guys, rather start working!

by Indian on 3/10/2008 12:41:11 PM
I am sure very few of the earning members are returning the accurate figure as IT return. If police really need to trace, they can easily do so. The members are saying they are doing a business but maximum of them are govt employee or having service..which is an offence to do so.This should be banned in india as other countries.Thanks.

Wow, so many brainwashed victims are trying desperately to keep the scam doing. Many countries already banned these kind of scams like Srilanka, Nepal, China, Iran, most recently Afghanistan. Srilankan economy alomst collapsed because of this Scam which was known as Goldquest scam at that time.

It’s definitely not a Quest to cheat public but “A Quest to TEACH public”. A Quest who instills rays of peace & happiness NOT IN EARNING by cheating or ditching public but by providing opportunities, empowering one n all irrespective of age, profession, geographical or any diversifications to enjoy success through truth, service & courage with sincere team spirit & great passion for Quest to Change for the BETTER. Thanks to GMD. “D.A.T.O. VIJAY ESWARAN” for this wonderful global businesplatform.

The news seems to be fabricated and not investigated properly by Deccan Herald. There are many getting cheques for the business done. The company is doing business in Indian ruppees and commissions are paid after deducting the tax. The company will come out unscathed in the court of law.

QuestNet is doing a legitimate Network Marketing business using e-commerce all over the world including India for the last 9 years. It allows the customers to earn extra income by referring their products. I have taken this opportunity and from my 7 years experience with the co. I or my business partners never had any issues in receiving the products and commissions on time. A news paper like Deccan Herald should not publish news like without any inestigation.

by Dr. Iqbal on 3/3/2008 3:06:05 PM
It seems to be a case of an irate group who were expecting overnight returns venting their ire at the company.Unfortunately, the middle-men involved seem to have stressed on free money rather than a solid business plan, and quick-rich dreams rather than effort and commitment.Though I don't blame the simpletons for their anger,it is their fault if they joined without a clear understanding of the plan.QuestNet will soon be acquitted, and I hope the paper will cover the matter then too.Regards.

by Dr. Iqbal on 3/3/2008 2:51:31 PM
It is unfortunate that such a reputed newspaper should be part of such irresponsible reporting. The article was surprisingly scathing, obviously written by a predujiced mind. The company cannot be held responsible if a number of people think they'll "earn pots of money" just by investing a certain amount. It is a simple business plan just like any other Direct Marketing business model, which is very much legal. It requires patience, effort and most importantly a proper understanding of the plan.

It's clear this article is nothing but a highly selective compilation of most negative possible statements with anything potentially positive omitted, written from the point of view of a hater of the company with an axe to grind..Data.V. Easwaran the M.D is HONOURABLE man he has delivered the keynote address of GOPIO convention check http://qnn.qnnetwork.net/qnn/content.asp?issueID=69&topicID=410 also check http://www.pbdindia.org/program/Programdetails.htm whom do we believe.PBD or K.Police

I am regularly receiving the cheques. On 26/02/08 I received a cheque of Rs. 10,197. I suspect, those arrested were misusing company's name and operating their own site. If so, it will eventually come out in the police investigations.

by prashant dixit on 2/26/2008 3:03:14 AM
Dear all,you purchase a product from company and pay for that. You recieve the product. Is this cheating? Then apart from that you get an additional opportunity that comes for free to make money,in that you help the company to sell its product like any other product based company. You get a comission and that even exceeds what you initialy invest. We all friends are making money. Please specify specific flaw as how company has cheated? Just giving such misleading info is not right. Thanks.

by ashwin on 2/26/2008 1:25:35 AM
Hey who said they r giving money..They wont.. I was the one who cheated by them..We dont this kind of businees. It needs to be closed ASAP... Kudos to Bangalore cops..

by VINODH on 2/25/2008 8:44:25 AM
nice story...but imaginary screenplay is not adhering to real things

by Deepak on 2/25/2008 12:46:09 AM
This is really rubbish. The company pays as promised to the customers. This news is created by those who dont know how the business works.

by Mohan on 2/23/2008 8:28:10 PM
This story is fabricated. Company pays everyone as promised. And these payments are made through HDFC/ICICI cheques after deducting the tax and all the people receive Form 16 end of every financial year. Talk to the local offices in India, there is no 25 offices in banaloge/karnatakam, company has only about 8 office all over india. Check at www.quest-india.com
