Student ends life in Chintamani
Chintamani, dhns: The body of second year polytechnic student Umesh was found at Varadadri hills on Friday.  Umesh (18), studying at Government Polytechnic College went missing last week. He was living with his uncle at Kodikannur village and used to travel to Chintamani everyday to attend classes.
However, since last one week Umesh was not attending classes. It is said that he had failed in five subjects at the first year of the course.
Police sources said that disgusted over his failure he swallowed sleeping pills and committed suicide. His body was located by a passerby who informed the police.
The police handed over the body to the relatives after conducting post mortem. Further investigation has been taken up by the police.
