The film is nothing like what the title suggests. A tale of revenge, this film is an example of hard work getting overshadowed by inexperience and ineptitude. Best intentions do not always translate into great works.
A successful model (Deepa) marries a businessman (Attin), who has a goal – to avenge his friend’s brutal death. While he tries to reach his goal he asks the wife to continue modelling.
But another model/photographer (Manoj) lusts after her and is willing to go to any length – even getting the husband murdered – to get her. He gives supari to one Pokri (Santosh) and the two proceed to kill the husband.
Shortly, the model expresses his love to the widow. Meanwhile, the killer has also fallen for her.
Lack of original ideas and the penchant to cram in as many notions as possible, leaves the film high and dry.
The director also manages to outguess the audience, keeping the narration tight sometimes and dropping the pace at others. Careless editing and inane dialogues also help in spoiling the impact.
Among actors, Deepa has exploited the chance given to her the most. Attin is also not bad. While Santosh’s soft voice and earnestness kill the killer role effectively. A couple of songs are pleasant, with clean lyrics too.
Camerawork is good in patches. But inexperience hinders the team and a good effort ultimately goes waste.
