Work on the Jakkalamadagu Reservoir Project, which has been a dream of the residents, is likely to begin soon, CMC president C S Manjunath said here on Sunday.
A sum of Rs 27 crore has been released for the work. New pipelines will be laid from the Jakkalamadagu reservoir, and work on the overhead tanks and the pipelines will be taken up, he said at a press conference.
