Moral values are declining with the development of society, opined Union Minister for land transport and state highways K H  Muniyappa .

He was speaking after inaugurating the Lakshmi Shanthidhama, an  old age home at Vijilapur village in the taluk on Sunday. It is the duty of every child to take care of their parents at their old age. He also assured of providing financial assistance from the Central government . Shivagange Sri Mahalakshmi Peeta’s Jananadapuri swamiji was present. Former MLA R Srinivas presided over the function.
