Recommendations will be made in the presence of Parameshwarappa, who has been appointed by Planning Commission as advisor on eco-tourism.
All stakeholders in eco-tourism, including the private investors, will be brought on a single platform where they can debate issues to evolve an eco-tourism policy, said Mr Tiwari. “There is a need to develop an ‘Eco-Development Board’ to frame guidelines for eco-tourism in the State,’ he added.

Jungle Lodges will soon expand its properties to five new destinations - Daroji National Park, Hospet; Malamartha,Chikmagalur; Hogenekal, Gopinatham; Ottinane, Udupi; and Jog Falls.
Proposals have been sent to the government.
Approval will be granted by March, Jungle Lodges Managing Director Tiwari said here on Monday.
Currently, Jungle Lodges has 12 properties with an average occupancy of 68 per cent. Jungle Lodge Kabini has the highest occupancy with an average occupancy of 90 per cent. Jungle Lodges will start online booking in another 15 days.
