1) Why should a Yash Chopra go from Chandini Chowk to Switzerland for every dream & dance sequence undermining the locales of India and win accolades from the nation for promoting tourism! Why can't the same capable individuals promote tourism in India?
2) An Indian said recently, 'Indian roads, systems, literacy rate & facilities are enough for Indian standards. I'm still proud'! What is this 'Indian standard?' Why do Indians think that Indians don't deserve the best?
3) Why should the Indian govt award NRIs who have deserted India with a tinge of disgust to acquire citizenship of Western nations? They didn't go there to build USA/UK either! They left India for self benefits. Indian govt sets a bad example by awarding them as the youngsters feel being NRIs is the only way to be recognised!
4) Why do Indians think that size of India is a deterrent to progress ('India is so big')? Aren't China, Aus/USA bigger? India is quite big and that is the reason it has been divided already into states, districts & Taluks for easy management. If each of the states, districts, taluks are governed well, it is like ruling each separate nation well. Think about it. India was never united in history before 60 years of democracy.
5) If Indians blame on population, then it is self inflicted with myopic policies. Those who have/had more than 2 children after 1980 must be withdrawn from the voters' lists, personal ration quota, pay double income tax, force-quit govt jobs and pay double the fee for education and other facilities. Religion/caste/creed no bar.
6) Indians need to clearly think of their contribution towards the environment. India has the highest quantity of pesticides, highest pollution & highest number of people working in shocking environmental conditions too.
7) India needs to shed the archaic monarchical slogan of 'yatha raja, tatha praja' (Like king, like people). King made rules & all followed those days. Now our democracy needs Greek philosopher Plato's thinking of 'Like people, like State!' Plato was Aristotle's teacher who in turn was the teacher of Alexander the Great. Now, people make the govt or break it.
8) Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Patel, Martin Luther King were strong minorities. Majority never wins as the saying goes. The thoughts of a strong minority are followed by the weak majority always! The one who thinks well, leads well. Those who listen well, follow well! What you select is a reflection of thoughts you followed!
9) Pseudo pride is such a negative trait that leaves no chance for improvement. I am just happy to be a human being. I think on global terms… Patriotism is another name for contribution. But most Indians wear it loosely.
10) I never dream of India becoming a Super Power as all powers are Super Myths. India doesn't need power, it needs strength! Power corrupts. Strength unites. India needs to be self-sufficient beyond the mean boundaries of religions & castes. And that India would win applause and be peaceful. And I wish that to each nation.
