Lokayukata officials caught red handed DDPI Education officer Mahadevaswamy accpeting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant A S Lakshminarayana s/o of Sambamurthy on Wednesday.

Both of them are  residents of Chikkaballapur.

 Mahadevaswamy had demanded Rs 10,000 to file the objection in Lakshminarayana’s name as his name had not appeared in the provisional list of successful candidates of CET though he had appeared for the examination.
Lokayukata then laid a trap to nab catch and official.

In this year so far 61 successful traps have been laid by  the Lokayukta police.
