Cong raises bogey of bogus voters
The Congress is strongly resisting the attempts of the Election Commission to hold Assembly elections in Karnataka in May, by invoking the issue of the nearly 60 lakh bogus voters in the State to counter the Commission's moves.
SOBHA REFUSES CEO POST
Senior IAS officer Sobha Nambisan, whose name the Election Commission had cleared to take over as the new Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Karnataka, is learnt to have refused to accept the new posting citing personal reasons.

The European Union (EU) on Wednesday imposed a record 899m euros ($1.35 billion) fine on Microsoft for charging "unreasonable" prices to rivals for access to its dominant software.
