Three days of vintage Hindi film songs is what is in store for the City’s music lovers. Titled  ‘Rang De Basanti’,  Mumbai-based  Golden Greats troupe, led by Kaushik Kothari, will be presenting theme-based musical shows between March 20 and 22.

While day one will be dedicated to ‘showman’ Raj Kapoor, the second day will feature Naushad’s compositions. The final day is dedicated to the ‘shahensha’  of ‘sangeet’ Mohammed Rafi. “The musical extravaganza will see 12 artistes enthrall the audience. What makes the programme unique is that it is a `khana and gaana’ initiative. The music programme will be followed by dinner on all the three days,” says  Kaushik.

The musical night will begin at 7.30 pm every day. It has been organised at the Gayatri Vihar Bangalore Palace Grounds. Tickets are priced at Rs 200, Rs 300, Rs 400 and Rs 500 per day. Call Barath or Jignesh on 9980163008 or 9845599160. The shows are being organised by Sagar Caterers.
