PEOPLE'S PROBLEM

Wasted water

Water is precious and we should conserve it. But much water from street taps is wasted. Pots  overflow while tempos, autos, cars, two-wheelers are being washed, some taps are broken and the water flows in to the drain.

Some fill their sumps with a hosepipes. Street tap water is used at    construction sites as well. All street taps, except those in the slums should be removed. Let every household take water connection and pay for the water they use or waste.

Need for buses

BMTC buses (route No 252) are regularly plying between Majestic and Laggere via Rajajinagar and Yeshwanthpur.

These buses should be extended to Kadabagere (in Janapriya township) on Magadi Road. This route helps public in different walks of life, especially workers employed in the Peenya industrial area, as well as school and college students.

Buses on these routes are  essential. We have already send reminders to the BMTC authorities. Kadabagere is the right place for a bus terminus (near BHEL).

This will help people commuting towards Mysore, Tumkur and Bangalore and will avoid rushe in Majestic area.

S Shankar,
Magadi Road

Avoid danger

All buses towards Anjananagara stop near Herohalli cross on Magadi main road. The buses towards Andhrahalli and Thigarapalya should also have a stop at this point before taking a turn towards Herohalli cross so that the passengers can avoid crossing the road during peak hours.

Vishwaneedam Post
