Prachi Desai has got a totally new look for the film Rock On which is very different from her original look on TV. Adhuna Akhtar has worked on her hair, Niharika Khan on her costumes and Shabana on her make up. Rock On produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar went on floors on January 7 this year. The schedule is being filmed in Mumbai. Rock On Marks the debut of Farhan Akhtar as actor in the film as well a Prachi Desai.

The film revolves around four young boys who put together the greatest band this country had ever seen but never make it. Ten years hence fate conspires to bring them together again and set them on a journey back to where they left off— a soul searching pilgrimage into their past.The film being directed by Abhishek Kapoor also stars Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Sahana Goswami and Luke Kenny. Other credits include music by Shankar, Eshaan and Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and cinematography by Jason West. The film is schedule to release in the third quarter of 2008.
