The railway budget is populistic and the Govt has an eye on the vote banks since this is an election year. In particular, I disagree with extra concessions to girl students and women above 60 years. Is this govt professing gender equality or inequality? Why should one gender get more benefits than another? Why should boy students be discriminated by the Govt.?
