Inventure Academy is organising a first-of-its-kind one-day inter-school event Multiple Intelligences Xplored (M.I.X.), for class 1-5 on March 1 at their campus from 8.30 am to 3 pm. M.I.X. is an event based on Howard Gardner’s educational theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI), which recognises that people are smart or intelligent in different ways. Is your child word smart, logic smart, music smart, body smart, picture smart, people smart, self smart or nature smart? The ability to distinguish that a child can be talented in special ways, apart from mathematical or linguistic intelligences, has a powerful positive impact on a child's self-esteem which encourages excellence inside and outside the classroom.

The Academy has invited a team of 25 students from each participating school, five students per grade level (grades1 to 5). The fun element will be enhanced by treats like face painting, mehendi, pop corn etc. Members of the management, faculty, parents and friends can join to encourage the participating teams. M.I.X. students from grades 1-5 are welcome to showcase their inherent intelligences. Leading educationists have designed this challenge to recognise and reward abilities across the eight intelligences.
