When Lalu Prasad Yadav took charge of the Railway Ministry five years ago, Railways was on huge loss.  Nobody expected that Lalu would be able to work wonders there. But, within a year, he proved that a lot of things could be done. He introduced new facilities and trains which helped in making Indian Railway a profit-making body. 

Since then, its profit has been increasing year after year.  Being an election year, he has introduced many concessions for ladies, old and AIDS- affected and handicapped people and also more facilities in the new budget. Lalu deserves the credit.
