Ljubicic advances
Top-seeded Ivan Ljubicic beat fellow Croat Lovro Zovko 6-4, 7-6 (3) to make the quarterfinals of the Zagreb Indoors.
In the quarterfinals, he will meet Teimuraz Gabashvili of Russia, who ousted Rik De Voest of South Africa 7-5, 6-1. Croat Mario Ancic, reached quarterfinals when he defeated German Denis Gremelmayr 6-3, 6-2.
