Shikha Uberoi, the US based Indian, has got a wildcard entry for the $600,000 Bangalore Open.
Shikha, will join her sister Neha in the tennis extravaganza which begins on Monday. Shikha was part of the National squad which played against Indonesia in the Asia/Oceania Zone Federation Cup tie last month.

Meanwhile, German Angelique Kerber has pulled out of the tournament on Thursday due to a shoulder injury,  The 20-year-old injured her shoulder during her first-round loss to Tamarine Tanasugarn at Doha last week. The German's place in the Tier II WTA Tour event main draw has gone to Sanda Mamic of Croatia.
