Bangalore played host to the second edition of Ruhaniyat, the all-India Sufi and Mystic Music festival, organised by Banyan Tree Events.
Music lovers turned up in large numbers to see performances. While Parvathy’s rendition of Akkamadevi’s composition in Kannada was a treat, Vitthal Rao’s singing enthralled listeners to a divine world.
The other performances included mystic drums by Siddhi Goma, Qawwali by Shameem and Nyeem Ajmeri from Ajmer.
A two-day ‘Sufi Darbar’ music festival will be held at Nagaur Fort in Rajasthan starting from February 9.
