The Kailas Manasarovar gives an elaborate description of the places in and around Kailas Manasarovar and an authoritative information on the topography, climate, social and political life of Tibet.

Swami Harshananda Maharaj  said the author who had visited Kailas Manasarovar more than 20 times provides an indepth description about the region which every pilgrim should read.

Swami Pranavananda during each of his visit to Kilas Manasarovar had stayed there for a period of six to 16 months and had used scientific instruments to measure the depth of Manasarovar and other lakes. Kailas Manasarovar Association, President Chandrashekariah said that the copies of the book would be donated to universities, schools, public libraries and religious institutions across the world.
