The president of the Field Marshal K M Cariappa educational institution, M Chandrashekar announced that with a view to develop the rural area 60 villages have been adopted and social welfare schemes have been started there by them.
He was speaking at the free medical check-up for school children between the age 1 to 16 that was jointly organised by of Sumanahalli Society, C S I St Matthew Church at the premises of Field Marshal K M Cariappa educational institution on Saturday.
“The children should aim high and visit other countries to get more solutions to the problems that being faced our country” he added.
Father George Kannan, Director of the Sumanahalli Society said that the children would be able to excel in any field only if their health was paid attention.
He also called on people to forget religion and work towards one goal to take India to the top of the world.
Mrs Saralavathi who returned after distinguished visit to the United Kingdom, and her husband M Chandrashekar were felicitated at the camp.
