BJP dares Cong to face polls
Bangalore, DHNS:
Senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar dared the Congress to face election instead of plotting the postponing of elections.

He was addressing at a conference of BJP workers of Shanthinagar Assembly constituency, where industrialist G Prasad Reddy joined the party along with his supporters.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Kumar said the Congress is afraid of elections because of its defeat in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, while the BJP is geared up for elections in April or May.

“If at all Congress has faith in democracy, it should give consent for elections and send its request for assembly election in the State to the President,” he said.

The BJP leader said his party will not allow Finance Minister P Chidambaram to read out the budget for Karnataka while presenting the Union budget.

Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa criticised the President’s rule saying it hampers progress of the State.
He said he has travelled 75 assembly constituencies and has found there is a wave for BJP in the State.
