Sebi to stem short swing profit by insiders  
On Tuesday, Sebi posted a consultative paper on "Introduction of Short Swing Profit regulations in India" on its official website which wants profits made by insiders to be handed over to the company in question.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on Tuesday, permitted foreign institutional investors (FIIs) registered with Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi) and sub-accounts of FIIs to short sell, lend and borrow equity shares of Indian companies.
