Pakistan on Wednesday postponed the general elections until February 18. Bhutto's party and others have opposed the delay, but election officials said the delay was unavoidable...

One of the pictures, published in a notice in Pakistan's biggest Urdu-language newspaper, shows two men standing in the crowd outside the Bhutto rally, moments before she came out and was killed. The picture shows a clean-shaven young man wearing sun glasses, a white shirt and dark waist coat. Behind him is a man with a white shawl over his head who a TV station said was believed to be the bomber.

Electing to bat, the Australians were gasping at 134 for six at one stage before Symonds and Brad Hogg (79) not only pulled the team out of the pits with a 173-run seventh wicket partnership. "I was very lucky. I was out when I was 30 and given not out," Symonds said. "That's cricket though. I could sit here and tell you about some bad decisions as well. That's the game. It's one of those things."

Hogg's flipper as good as Warne's, claims Ponting
Brad Hogg was not an automatic choice for the first Test but the Chinaman bowler did enough to justify his selection in Mebourne and Ponting believes at least he has a flipper as potent as that of Warne.
