Police to probe LTTE network
The Karnataka police will investigate the network of suspected members of the outlawed outfit LTTE, who were caught in Mangalore recently. The suspected ultras were allegedly involved in swindling business by having a number of fake credit cards. They had allegedly cheated several jewellery shops in Mangalore and Bangalore. DGP of the State K Srinivasan said, interrogations are on to find out their connections and way of operation.

Heist accused on CCTV
The Railway police have extracted from the CCTV footage clear images of criminals who had looted a family and murdered one of its members in the Guwahati-bound train around 10 days ago. Sources said the family identified four people from CCTV footage. The railway police then developed photographs from the CCTV footage, which gave a clear picture of the criminals.

Sources said the CCTV footage also showed that the criminals had arrived from different directions and gathered at the platform.

Three of them had gathered first and finally two others arrived separately and and joined them. They executed their plan further.

Gang of 4 in police net
Ramamurthy Nagar police busted a gang of thieves and recovered valuables worth Rs 4.3 lakh. They have been identified as Sandlimoses, Jnanendra, both from Munikalappa Layout; Santosh of Horamavu; and Rajesh of Lal Bahadur Nagar.
