After her six-day stay at the hospital for chest infection Congress President Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Sir Gangaram Hospital here on Sunday.
“Ms Gandhi was discharged early on Sunday after she fully recovered from her illness. She is stable and has been advised to continue rest,” said B K Rao, Chairman of Sir Gangaram Hospital where she was admitted to the hospital on December 31.  Refuting reports that Ms Gandhi was suffering from pneumonitis, Rao said it was only chest infection and “nothing else”.
