Photo exhibition
Gujarat Lalitkala Accademi is organising a photo exhibition on ‘A journey of eternal Narmada’ by Jogesh Thakar at Gallery 4, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Kumara Kurupa Road.

His collection includes Amarkantak, the origin of Narmada at the small mountain range of Mekalgiri; the world famous Lahmeta rocks where Dinosaur eggs were found; Dharaji, an expanse which was submerged recently;

Aumkareshwar, a pilgrim centre. among others. The exhibition is on from July 17 to 22 between 10 am and 7 pm.

Jewellery exhibition

Surana Jewellers are organising a three-day exhibition of gold enamelled jewellery that is studded with diamonds and emeralds, apart from other precious and semi precious stones. The exhibition is on from July 17 to 19 at Hotel Taj Residency, M G Road.

Comedy play

Kriyative Theatre is presenting the 35th show of ‘Heegadre Hege?’, a comedy based on the writings of well known Kannada humourist T Sunandamman at Rangashankara.

Scripted by upcoming playwright K Y Narayana Swamy and directed by Pramod Shiggaon, the cast include Sunder and Laxmi Chandrashekar.

Music is composed by Gajanana Naik and lighting by Muddaanna Rattihalli. The play is on July 19, 7.30 pm. Tickets, priced at Rs 50, are available at the venue. For details call: 94480-88008/ 26719911.
