Jewellery IPOs to adorn Dalal Street  
The IPO market is getting a new glitter with jewellers from across the country lining up public issues to raise funds for expansion plans in the midst of consumers growing appetite for luxury purchases.
G20 communique cites global economy risks  
Downside risks to the global economy from recent market turmoil have increased, the Group of 20 key economic powers said in a statement, on Sunday, that made no mention of growing currency imbalances.
Commerce Ministry unhappy with FMs stand on exporters  
The Commerce Ministry is upset over "pittance" being considered by the Revenue Department for exporters facing the brunt of appreciating rupee. Against the demand of service tax exemption for 14 more items, the Finance Ministry is willing to extend the benefit to just one additional item that of participation in exhibitions and trade fairs abroad. The service tax exemption on this is likely to be notified later this week.
Promote CDM projects: FICCI  
Indian industry favours treating revenue earned from carbon credits as export earnings and wants a regulatory framework conducive to promote Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects, a FICCI survey said.

Indias $300 million clinical trials market is expected to grow at a compoud annual growth rate of 15 per cent (CAGR) over the next four years, a top official with the Institute of Clinical Research India (ICRI) said.
