PhD award
Dr N S Murthy, President of Centre for Research and Application of Vasthu Science, Bangalore, has been conferred with a PhD in Alternative Medicine by Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, established under the World Health Organisation.
World masters festivals
Veena vidwan R K Prakash, Mridanga vidwan C Cheluvaraj and Ghatam vidwan Dayanantha Mohithe are still in the thrill of the unique experience they had in Korea last month. These artistes from Bangalore were the only team from India to participate in the World Master’s Festival in Arts and Culture, held in Seoul, Korea. During the function, these artists were honoured with a certificate named, ‘World Master in Classical Music and Dance’.
