Hedging on commodity exchanges touches Rs 4500 crore
Metal firms look to reduce currency risk  
Given the volatility of the rupee against the dollar, metal companies have now begun to hedge their risks in the commodity market here, though it accounts for a fraction of what they put in on international exchanges.

With many Indian firms opening subsidiaries abroad, industry chamber FICCI on Sunday asked the Finance Ministry to frame tax policies in its proposed Direct Taxes Code in such a way that these firms are encouraged to repatriate their earnings into the country in the form of dividends or capital gains.
Saudi realty firm to invest $3 bn in India  
Saudi Arabia-based realty major Tanmiyat group plans to commit an investment of around $3 billion in a township project in India, a top company official said.
