Wraps and Boxes, a company that’s into custom-made packing ideas, is conducting an exhibition of the same on September 24. As part of the event, they will have on display packs for special occasions that includes colourfully crafted boxes in myriad hues, a wide assortment of bags and special occasion covers.

For good health
People Health, a health management systems in India, is conducting a workshop ‘Are you eating your diet out?’ on September 30, an initiative as a precursor to World Heart Day.
As part of the initiative, free diet analysis will be conducted which includes an audit of one’s diet for three consecutive days that will be conducted by a team of nutritionists. The entries will be judged by the HOD of Dietics and Nutrition, VHD Central Institute of Home Science.

Theatre workshop
DreamScope Theatre is organising a two-day workshop, ‘Acting on Stage — a Beginners Guide’, on October 6 and 7, between 10 am and 6 pm. The workshop will be conducted by writer, voice-over artist and theatre director Puja Goyal. The workshop is for individuals who have had no prior experience on stage but would like to develop basic skills in theatre.
Day 1 will cover topics like introducing acting for stage, importance of rhythm and timing of movement in performance, voice and speech in theatre session, working with co-actors and director, scene creation and understanding.

Cultural fest
‘Rasa’, the annual inter-collegiate cultural fest organised by ISKCON will be held from September 24 to 29 at the Hare Krishna Hill in Rajajinagar. A rolling trophy will be given to the college with the highest number of prize-winning performances. There will also be awards for the top five colleges and top five lecturers in charge.
The Rasa fest was started in 2004 with the objective of giving an opportunity to youth to appreciate the invaluable culture of our country and to facilitate them to exhibit their creativity and talent through competitions.
There are about 24 events that include drama, music concert, folk dance, flower arrangements, skit, cookery, mono acting, mime, instrumental music, rangoli, vocal music, Vedic quiz, painting, fusion music, extempore speech, etc., states a release.
Healing workshop
An Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT) and Success Manifestation workshop is being held on September 29-30 at Fireflies. The workshop will focus on teaching EFT to heal sadness, fear, anger and other negative emotions, states a release. Designing course
Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) is conducting a short-term course in fashion designing at Maharani Ammani College of Women in Malleswaram and NMKRV College of Women in Jayanagar from October 3.
The course, designed mostly for housewives, will enable them to learn the nuances of fashion designing along with providing them with an opportunity to display their collections at an exhibition that will be conducted at the end of the course.
