Mr Asia Balakrishna drives a water tanker (video)

G Balakrishna, who drives a water tanker, made waves recently, when he won Mr Asia title in Philippines. Known as the Arnold Schwarzenegger of Whitefield, Balakrishna has won several international contests including Mr Universe junior title in Germany and Mr World in Greece.

Born in a poor family Balakrishna lost his father when he was young. He works as a gym instructor and runs a water tanker business to supplement his income. 

For, Balakrishna body building is an expensive sport. His daily diet includes 750g of chicken, 25 eggs, 300g of rice, 200g of vegetables, as well as fish and fruits. Despite his hectic work, he works out for at least six hours every day.

He needs Rs 1 lakh per month just to maintain his fitness. Taking part in an international competition would mean an expense of Rs 3 to 4 lakhs.  Though a few sponsors have stood by him, he clearly needs more help.

Balakrishna’s next big aim is to take part in the upcoming Mr Universe contest in Germany. That will happen only if he can find someone to help him with the finance.
