| About This Video : | As the indefinite strike called by the supporters of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) is underway, the violence amidst the shutdown has not yet summed up. Last night, the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Tourist Information office at the Chowrasta area was set on fire by some unknown people. The office was reduced to ashes just on the day when thousands of 'Gorkhaland' supporters came out on the streets of Darjeeling to take part in the funeral procession of GJM supporter Ashok Tamang, who was allegedly shot in police firing on July 8 and later succumbed to his injuries. |
