About this Video: India is widely known for its cultural diversity and harmonious relations between different communities in the country. There are many individuals who have kept alive and strengthened the spirit of harmony over centuries. One such person was Pandit Dasi Ram, a Hindu, who built the Buddh Wali Masjid in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. The mosque has been a symbol of communal amity and brotherhood for the past 200 years. Pandit Dasi Ram did not have a child. He resolved to build a mosque if his desire of having a child was fulfilled. When this happened he got the Buddh Wali Mosque constructed.
